Engine Conversions

Over the past 15 years Rogue Motorsport have completed countless engine conversions for different makes and models. We offer several 'off the shelf' engine conversions for various Toyota models, we also undertake 'one off' bespoke engine conversions to suit customer requirements. Our in house design, development and fabrication facilities are key to this sector of our business. Below are some examples of conversions we offer / have completed.

 

Toyota MK2 MR2 SW20

1MZFE 3.0ltr V6 Engine conversion.

2GRFE 3.5ltr V6 Engine conversion.

3SGTE 2.0ltr Turbo Engine conversion.

Historically a very popular engine conversion for the UK non turbo model MR2. Over the years we've completed lots of these conversions but these days the engine packages are getting more difficult to come by. The conversion takes you from around 175hp to 240hp in standard trim, with pleanty of scope to tune the engine to higher levels. This is a fairly straight forward engine conversion as its a direct fit to the chassis.

Toyota MR2 Roadster ZZW30 -

1MZFE 3.0ltr V6 Engine conversion.

2GRFE 3.5ltr V6 Engine conversion.

3SGTE 2.0ltr Turbo Engine conversion.

2ZZGE 1.8 ltr VVTLi Engine conversion.

This is a very popular upgrade from the standard 140hp 1ZZFE to the 190hp 2ZZGE. The 2ZZGE is a much better designed engine than the 1ZZFE, with input from Yamaha the engine rev's quite happily to over 8000 RPM. This conversion is fairly straight forward as the 1ZZFE and 2ZZGE are from the same family of engine. We have developed a lot of conversion specific parts: Engine mount, direct fit exhaust parts, Hi flow intake etc so we offer this conversion on a drive in drive out basis. Mazda MX5 - RX8 Rotory Engine conversion. This was a one off project for a customer, the conversion required us to engineer a complete new subframe for the front of the car. We also made alterations to the rear subframe to allow us to install the RX8 rear LSD equipped differential. This was a very invloved project, however the finishhed product was fantasic and included the factory RX8 dash which rev's out to 9000 rpm!
